Amandine always has big dreams. She was intrigued by the art of fashion and the stories it told from such an early age, dreaming of someday becoming a model and telling her own stories.

Furthermore, Amandine has a strong heart. She is constantly seeking to comprehend herself and the people around her. Above all, Amandine wishes to better the lives of people. So Amandine resolved to become a psychologist who helps people via her ability to tell stories.

Amandine has worked both as a model and a psychologist. She began modeling at a young age. She has the good fortune to go on tours around the world. However, Amandine admitted that while the modeling industry can provide a wealth of great experiences, it can also be detrimental to one’s mental health. This is the driving force behind Amandine’s decision to seek a PhD in psychology.

She stated, “I want to help others. I was fortunate enough to spend the weekend at Coco Rocha’s Model Camp, which gave me the confidence to stand up and be strong in life”. Amandine believes that the modeling industry still has true souls.

Healing through storytelling

Unlike a model, she is always in touch with her clients’ concerns as a psychologist. Amandine’s position demands her to comprehend and connect with them in order to listen to each person’s narrative. Amandine tailors her mental health treatment to the individual once she has reached out to the client.

“I am very privileged to be able to hear people’s deepest tales, learn about their problems, and follow them on their path to healing and a better life”. “It was a very humbling and wonderful experience”,  she added.

According to Amandine, our own internal narrative shapes our life experiences. Amandine uses her skill to tell tales to heal through open discussion with her clients, assisting them in telling their experience. Then, she can then assist them in healing their internal wounds.

When asked about her life motto, Amandine said that she wants to achieve a lot of amazing things in life and that she doesn’t have to wait till she is ready or doesn’t feel afraid to do. According to Amandine, fashion is an art, and so is the field of psychology. In both fashion and psychology, innovation, diversity, spontaneity, and flexibility are essential.

Authenticity is also a significant factor in both of these domains. Being unique is incredibly essential in both fashion and psychology. “People frequently wish to connect with others, and this is made easier when we are genuine and trustworthy,” Amandine explains.

Experience with Harper’s Bazaar

“The photography experience for Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam was really special. Working with Jorge Duva and the production team was truly an amazing experience.” Amandine appreciates the professionalism, vision and coordination of the team that has produced high-quality imaging products.

“The nicest memory I have is modelling with a hat made especially for this shoot. The hat is a distinctive design. It’s a privilege to work with a work of art to make art together”, Amandine continued.
