Lucciana Beatriz Beynon: “Success emphasizes the significance of inner strength and determination”

In the competitive world of modeling, success is often measured by a combination of talent, determination, and a touch of serendipity. For Lucciana Beatriz Beynon, her journey from a determined 17-year-old in Australia to a sought-after model in Miami is a story of resilience.

“I signed with an agency in Australia at 17, but it wasn’t until after I finished school that my career really took off. At the age of 18, I started getting in touch with agencies in London. Moving to London was a significant step for me. I went there all by myself, without any family or friends, and I didn’t have much money either. However, I was determined and ready to work hard. I hustled and almost worked every day, primarily focusing on e-commerce modeling for brands like ASOS,” recalled Lucciana Beatriz Beynon.

She stayed in London for about two and a half years, before making another big move, this time to Miami. “I have been fortunate to participate in swimwear and lingerie campaigns, as well as work on runways, in car commercials, music videos, and more. Miami offers a vibrant and diverse modeling scene, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have had here.”

Living in different countries has been instrumental in Lucciana’s growth as a model. The exposure to diverse cultures and beauty standards has broadened her understanding and appreciation of the industry. Each place she’s called home has provided unique insights, creating a well-rounded and adaptable model.

One of the highlights of Lucciana’s career was her role in Drake’s music video “Falling Back,” where she played the first wife and main girl. In her memory, “It was an unforgettable journey filled with fun, professionalism, and a touch of cinematic magic.” The experience left a memorable mark on her career.

Then COVID-19 hit. Like many models, Lucciana Beatriz Beynon had to face a significant challenge during the pandemic. “I experienced a significant slowdown in work opportunities during this time. Living in London at the time, I made the difficult decision to fly to Australia and wait it out for about three months in hopes of finding new opportunities there. However, the industry was still heavily affected, and even after those three months, it remained challenging to secure work for an extended period.” Instead of viewing it as a setback, she chose to see it as an opportunity for growth and reflection. “I used this time to focus on self-improvement, honing my skills, and expanding my knowledge within the industry. I took online courses, connected with other professionals virtually, and invested time in building a stronger network.”

This experience taught her the importance of adaptability, resilience, and perseverance in the face of adversity.

Being asked, “Are there any particular fashion or beauty brands that you aspire to work with in the future?”, Lucciana Beatriz Beynon replied with a smile. “One brand that has been a long-standing dream of mine is Victoria’s Secret. Since I was young, I have admired the iconic models of the Adriana Lima era. The combination of their height, beauty, and power has always inspired me. Being a part of Victoria’s Secret would be a tremendous honor and a dream come true.”

Lucciana also has a strong admiration for brands like Guess and Valentino. In her view, “Guess represents a timeless and effortlessly chic style that resonates with me, while Valentino embodies elegance and sophistication. Collaborating with these respected brands would not only provide incredible opportunities but also allow me to contribute to their creative vision.”

Successful modeling requires models to adhere to strict training regimens. For Lucciana Beatriz Beynon, she’s fallen in love with practicing mindfulness through meditation. “Taking a few minutes each day to sit in silence, focus on my breath, and observe my thoughts and emotions helps me out a lot. Getting enough sleep each night with consistent exercise, keeps me in a great place mentally and physically as well.”

Her favorite mottos are “Pain is temporary” and “Look good, feel good.” Lucciana embodies resilience, self-care, and a strong work ethic. Her father’s favorite saying was, “It’s not about the size of the dog in the fight, it’s about the fight in the dog.” Lucciana Beatriz Beynon treasures that wisdom, “This motto reminds me that success is not solely determined by external circumstances or advantages. Instead, it emphasizes the significance of inner strength and determination.”

Moving to the UK at the age of 18 was a significant milestone for Luciana. “Embarking on that independent journey was a transformative experience. It empowered me to step out of my comfort zone, navigate unfamiliar environments, and make decisions on my own. Traveling solo at a young age instilled in me a sense of self-reliance, adaptability, and resilience.”

Lucciana Beatriz Beynon further explaines, “Traveling has shaped my perspective on the world in profound ways. It has shown me the diversity and beauty that exists across different cultures, opening my mind to new ideas and perspectives. It has taught me independence, expanded my worldview, and instilled a lifelong curiosity to continue exploring and learning from the world around me.”

We believe her future is as bright and limitless as the horizons she’s explored.
