When Kayla Innes began planning her wedding to Dan Roffman, her main focus was fashion. “Definitely the outfit,” she says. Kayla, a celebrity stylist and owner of Chérir Vintage, has visited Lake Como since childhood and knew it was the ideal location. After touring several venues, they chose Villa Pizzo, a 17th-century residence. Villa Pizzo is an exclusive, historic location and one of the most prestigious villas on Lake Como. It boasts the longest lakeside garden on the lake and is renowned as one of northern Italy’s most exclusive wedding venues. Their choice of a botanical garden theme for both the ceremony and dinner added a modern twist, elevating the celebration while embracing eco-friendly choices. We were captivated by Kayla’s selection of wedding dresses. The first, by rising New York designer Wiederhoeft, featured a fitted corset and long lace gloves. The second, a Vivienne Westwood design, was perfect for dinner, cake-cutting, and dancing. “I wanted to incorporate vintage,” she notes. The couple kicked off their wedding weekend with a pizza party in Bellagio, which ended in a fun, stormy adventure. The celebration, which lasted until 3 a.m., featured a cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing in a glass tent. The intimate event included close friends and family. “Being with everyone who traveled to celebrate with us was the best part,” Kayla shares. Every moment of this wedding, captured in both digital and analog photography, is pure poetry. Photos: The Fashion wedding | www.thefashionwedding.com. |
