Elizabeth Lip is a luxury lifestyle content creator whose journey spans three continents. Educated in the UK and professionally polished in Los Angeles, she now calls Barcelona home. Her unique path has shaped a cosmopolitan aesthetic and an entrepreneurial drive that set her apart. “The true luxury is living authentically, wherever in the world I am,” she says, reflecting a philosophy that blends global travel with personal honesty.
Balancing high fashion and five-star travel with unfiltered discussions of mental health, Elizabeth Lip bridges worlds with refreshing candor. In this interview with Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, Elizabeth opens up about her evolution from a Tumblr teen blogger to a multifaceted creator working across Europe and the U.S., her collaborations with iconic brands, and how she’s using her platform to showcase both the glamor and the reality behind a life of luxury.

HARPER’S BAZAAR VIETNAM (HBZVN): Hello, Elizabeth. You moved to the UK for boarding school as a teenager and even launched your first blog on Tumblr back then. What sparked your passion for content creation at such a young age?
ELIZABETH LIP: Moving from home to boarding school in England as a teen was a huge change. I started my first blog on Tumblr partly out of loneliness and curiosity. It was a creative outlet where I posted about fashion inspiration, daily life at school, and anything that excited me.
To my surprise, people began engaging with my posts. That early online community showed me the power of digital content. It felt amazing to connect with others around the world over style and ideas, even from my little dorm room.
I realized then that storytelling and style were my passions, and that experience planted the seed for the career I have now. People started responding to my, as I liked to call them, “online diary” entries and even asked me to record a Q&A video on YouTube. That’s when I realized this could become something bigger. But honestly, even as a kid I was always with a camera in hand, filming “vlogs” long before the word even existed. One day maybe I’ll publish some of these masterpieces haha…

HBZVN: Later you spent time in Los Angeles. How did living in L.A. shape your aesthetic and professional drive as a creator?
ELIZABETH LIP: Los Angeles was an eye-opener for me. I moved there in my early twenties to pursue acting almost right after graduating with a degree in International Relations (nothing close to entertainment-related), and suddenly I was in the heart of Hollywood glamour and a fast-paced creative industry. L.A. and California in general taught me to think big and to think strategically. I was surrounded by bold fashion statements, red-carpet events, and a culture of entrepreneurship. And yet, the fierce competition was a great reminder that if you don’t hustle, you’ll be another “lost soul with a lost dream” in LA. That energy pushed me to refine my personal style, mixing that West Coast chic with my European elegance, and to treat content creation like a serious business.
In L.A. I learned the importance of branding myself and networking with other creatives. As someone told me right in the beginning: “If you have less than 10,000 followers, you do not exist in LA”. A bold statement to make, I know, but it was partially true. And probably still is…
HBZVN: Now your presence bridges luxury travel, high fashion, and even real estate content across Europe and the U.S. How do you manage to unite these different worlds?
ELIZABETH LIP: Honestly, it comes naturally because it reflects my real life. About three years ago, I filmed my first TikTok after a break from social media, which turned into my ongoing “A City Girl Living In…” series.
Since 2011 I haven’t had “home” in the traditional sense. I call wherever I land my home. Yes, being an immigrant is a challenge; however it brings its own perks: speaking multiple languages, having friends all around the world, being emotionally intelligent as a result of the constant need to adapt to new environments and people, and basically calling “globetrotting” your lifestyle. That is why content I create gets a lot of attention across different countries, not only America or Europe, since it is simply very very relevant to many, many people.

HBZVN: You’ve even expanded into luxury real estate and private jets. What inspired you to venture into real estate content?
ELIZABETH LIP: That has been one of the most unexpected and exciting chapters for me. I’ve always been drawn to TV presenting, but I never imagined real estate would be the entry point. There’s actually a funny story behind it, a very “law of attraction” moment.
I remember a new season of Selling Sunset had just come out, and I sat on the couch to watch it. Seeing all the L.A. glamour and these incredible mansions, I turned to my boyfriend and said, “I miss this so much… maybe one day I’ll be back in L.A. – who knows, maybe I’ll even end up on a show like this.”
The next day, completely out of the blue, I received a casting request asking me to film a oneshot video showcasing our apartment. I thought it was strange, but I did it; and only after sending it did I find out that a luxury real estate company had discovered me through my Instagram Reels and wanted me as the presenter for their YouTube channel.
From there, it instantly clicked. As a content creator, I’ve always curated lifestyle narratives, and there’s nothing more central to lifestyle than the spaces we live in. On the channel, I get to tour incredible multi-million-euro villas and penthouses in Catalonia while storytelling in a way that feels aspirational but still fun and accessible.
Presenting real estate content also pushed me to level up on camera. It’s one thing to pose for a photo, but presenting a full property tour in a single take is a completely different skill. This role not only diversified my portfolio but also became the reason Mirai Flights, private jet booking platform, reached out to me. They saw my presenting style and offered me the opportunity to become the face of their social media.
I love bridging fashion, travel, aviation, and real estate. To me, they are all part of the same universe of modern luxury lifestyle.
HBZVN: You’ve collaborated with some of the world’s leading luxury brands: Piaget, Christian Louboutin, Giorgio Armani. And this summer was exceptionally viral for you. What all this momentum meant for you?
ELIZABETH LIP: This summer was crazy indeed (finally, in a good way crazy haha). I feel truly honored to work with such iconic brands. Each collaboration has been a milestone. For example, partnering with Piaget felt surreal. I attended a magnificent new high-jewelry collection event of theirs in June, a wonderful evening literally full of gem.
Beyond heritage luxury houses, I’ve also worked with highly successful commercial brands like MC2 Saint Barth – which was special to me because I was already a loyal customer before they invited me to collaborate. A total full-circle moment!
Partnerships aren’t just about promoting a product. I’m selective about working with brands that align with my personal style and values. Overall, these collaborations have helped me grow professionally and creatively. I’ve learned so much from each brand’s heritage and craftsmanship, and I love that I can bring my followers along for these experiences in a genuine way.

HBZVN: On social media you don’t just show the glamor. You’re also candid about the realities of influencer life, from mental health to immigration struggles. Why is that honesty important to you?
ELIZABETH LIP: For me, being genuine is non-negotiable. Yes, my content features beautiful outfits and exotic locations, but I never want to paint a perfect picture that isn’t real. I’ve been open about my mental health journey because I want to break the stigma around these issues.
Living with ups and downs while managing a public image is challenging. I’ve shared days when I’ve felt anxious or overwhelmed behind the scenes. Surprisingly, those personal posts received an outpouring of support. It turns out a lot of people, even those who love the luxury content, appreciate knowing that I have bad days and therapy sessions just like anyone else.
The same goes for talking about immigration struggles. In just the last three years I’ve moved across 14 countries, navigating visa stress, cultural shifts, and the loneliness that sometimes comes with constantly rebuilding your life somewhere new. It’s important to me to show that side of the story.
Many young people see the travel and think it’s all jet-setting glamour, but there are bureaucratic hurdles and homesick moments too. By sharing these realities, I hope to inspire others who are chasing big dreams abroad and let them know they’re not alone.
At the end of the day, my platform has to be more than pretty pictures. It should be a space that empowers and informs as well. Being honest helps me connect on a deeper level with my audience; and I believe it makes the glossy moments even more meaningful.

HBZVN: Finally, can you tease any upcoming projects? What’s next for Elizabeth Lip?
ELIZABETH LIP: I’m genuinely excited about what’s coming next! I can’t reveal too much just yet due to NDA, but I can share a couple of teasers. The first is a collaboration with one of the world’s largest private jet manufacturers – definitely my biggest aviation-related project so far. As someone deeply passionate about travel, being able to work directly with a global jet brand feels like a full-circle moment. I can’t wait to share more!
And on a completely different creative note, I’m also stepping back into music. I have a new EDM track in production right now.
Music has always been part of my life. I studied jazz piano from the age of six and even graduated from music school with a diploma. Releasing my own electronic single feels both terrifying and thrilling. It’s going to be a high-energy summer anthem, and I’m excited to finally bring that side of me back.
What many people don’t know is that I actually released two EDM tracks back in 2019 when I was living in LA, but my newer audience has never seen
HBZVN: Thank you, Elizabeth, for sharing your inspiring journey and insights. We look forward to seeing your next adventures take flight.
ELIZABETH LIP: Thank you so much. It’s been a pleasure! I’m excited for what’s ahead and I appreciate having the chance to reflect on it all here.
